We have exciting news! On Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27, OIEPC will have a church retreat at Fort Caswell Coastal Retreat and Conference Center! This will be open to our whole church family, members, and regulars alike. Our headquarters during the retreat will be the Chapel Annex building, a wonderful location we have used before! Friday, April 26 We will start with a Potluck Dinner at 6:00 PM, followed by a time of Praise and Worship. Afterwards we will get to know each other better through some fun activities. Expect lots of laughter!!! Saturday, April 27 We will begin with breakfast in the cafeteria at 7:30 AM. We will have lunch at noon in the same place. After breakfast, we start the morning off with Praise and Worship in the Chapel Annex. During the day there will be various planned activities, including a History Tour of Fort Caswell (Civil War Fort) and the adjacent Batteries (World War I era)! There will also be plenty of free time to explore the beautiful retreat grounds, talk, laugh, play some horseshoe or cornhole… We will finish at 4:30 pm with Praise and Worship. The cost for the retreat is $50.00 per person (which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, guest fee, and the history tour). Register by picking up a registration form from the little table outside the Church Office, filling it out and writing a check made out to OIEPC, with Retreat on the memo line. You can drop off the form and check at the Church Office or you can give it to our Assistant Pastor, Agnes Taylor. This is a fantastic opportunity to get away from your hectic schedule for a time of relaxation and fellowship with your church family. We will eat, laugh, talk, play, enjoy the beautiful retreat grounds, and worship together. We will strengthen our bonds as a church family. And we will make great memories!!! Come, and join us!
