Generously Reformed Study
What does it mean to be “Reformed”? What is “Reformed Theology” or the “Reformed Tradition”? Beginning Sunday evening, September 20, Dr. Taylor will lead a study/discussion group based on the recently published book Generously Reformed: Theology Rooted Deep and Reaching Wide (Baker Academic: 2026, 216 pages). This book was written by three very good Reformed theologians from very different places, yet who share in a love of Christ, his Church, and the Reformed Tradition. The writers are Todd Billings, Suzanne McDonald, and Alberto La Rosa Rojas (some of you may remember Todd Billings from his excellent book, The End of the Christian Life, which some of us studied together several years ago). This study will meet on the third Sunday of the month at 5p.m. and will run for 8 months.
Generously Reformed is a good read, but a book that needs to be read slowly and probed (thus we will meet once a month). If you are interested or otherwise have any questions, please contact Dr. Taylor. If you would like for him to order the book for you, please let him know in good time. Otherwise, the book is available from Amazon, among other sources.
